This ride is not one for the faint hearted.
Starting from Vittorio Veneto the route immediately heads towards the mountains in the Province of Belluno. Reaching the area of Alpago, riders will find themselves on desolate roads amidst a stunning landscape alongside the Lago di Santa Croce (Lake of Santo Croce) and the foothills of the Italian Alps ('Prealpi')

From Puos, riders climb to Tambre d'Alpago along a steep road to the Cansiglio, 1000m ASL.
This lush green and peaceful area is one for the body and the mind, but also delivers profound satisfaction to any cyclist who has the ability to reach this special place.

After ones celebration, the difficult part of the day is done and the route heads along the steep descent into Vittorio Veneto.
