Conegliano, Ogliano, Vittorio Veneto, San Lorenzo, Tovena, San Boldo, Follina, Solighetto, Refrontolo, Col Vendramo, Parè, Conegliano
This ride stretches over 70 km between Conegliano and Vittorio Veneto, including two of the most popular climbs known in the area ; San Lorenzo and Passo San Boldo.
San Lorenzo is reached via the centre of Vittorio Veneto and can be tackled from both sides. Almost 4km in length when entering from the centre of Vittorio, the medium gradient is 6-7% with a maximum of 10-12%.
Once descending San Lorenzo, this ride then heads towards the small town of Tovena, where the climb to Passo San Boldo begins.
The San Boldo is also known as "Strada dei 100 giorni" (The Road of 100 Days) as it was built in only 100 days during the First World War.
The climb to the top is not so difficult, except for the final kilometre where its inclination reaches approximately 12-14% and hence more demanding.
The effort to reach the top, 700m ASL, is all worthwhile with extraordinary views across the valley and countryside.
The ride home is just as picturesque, as you travel through Follina (famous for its Abbey), Solighetto and Refrontolo and the never-ending kilometres of Prosecco vineyards!
